Privacy Policy
Reptra is built by a solo developer who takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We keep it simple because we have nothing to hide.
What We Collect
When you create an account and use Reptra, we collect:
- Account information - your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text)
- Profile data - your fitness goal, experience level, training days, equipment, and body stats you choose to enter
- Workout data - exercises, sets, reps, weights, and timestamps you log during workouts
- Body measurements - weight, body fat, and measurement data you choose to log
- Usage data - which pages you visit and when, to help us improve the app
What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect payment information - Reptra is free during beta
- We do not use advertising tracking or third-party ad networks
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
- We do not share your personal data with third parties except as described below
How We Use Your Data
- To generate and personalize your workout program
- To track your progress and calculate your Reptra Score
- To send you account emails (welcome, password reset)
- To generate AI coaching notes using the Anthropic API (your workout data is sent to Anthropic's servers for this purpose - see below)
- To improve the app based on how it's being used
AI Coaching Notes
After each workout, Reptra sends anonymized workout performance data (exercise names, sets, reps, weight, PRs) to the Anthropic API to generate your coaching note. We do not send your name or email to Anthropic. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data: anthropic.com/privacy.
Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers hosted by GoDaddy in the United States. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data including encrypted passwords and HTTPS for all connections.
Your Rights
- Access - you can see all your data inside the app at any time
- Correction - you can update your profile and data in the app
- Deletion - email us and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 7 days
- Export - we don't currently have an export feature but plan to add one
Cookies
Reptra uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies.
Children
Reptra is not intended for users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Reptra after changes means you accept the updated policy.
